Terms of Service
Last updated: October 31, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Ruslan Kosykh, an individual based in Cyprus, who operates Leadlark ("Leadlark", "we", "us"), about your use of the Leadlark website at leadlark.app, the app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use Leadlark.
1. The Service
Leadlark helps freelancers and agencies find work on Upwork. You set up campaigns with filters. Leadlark finds matching jobs, scores how well each one fits your profile, and writes a draft cover letter. On the Autopilot and Unlimited plans, Leadlark can also send proposals on your behalf. We work to bring you more client conversations, but we don't promise any specific number of replies, interviews or contracts.
2. Plans and what each one does
- Search. Job feed, scoring and cover letter drafts. You send proposals yourself. Search does not connect to your Upwork account.
- Autopilot. Everything in Search, plus sending proposals from your account. Includes 5 leads per month; each lead after that is billed separately.
- Unlimited. Autopilot without a lead allowance, for agencies with several profiles.
Current prices are on our pricing page. Plans may be available as monthly or quarterly subscriptions.
3. Your Upwork account
Autopilot and Unlimited need access to your Upwork account. You can give it in one of two ways:
- Login details (default). You give us your Upwork email, password and two-factor (TOTP) secret. We store them encrypted and use them only to sign in to your account for the campaigns you set up. Each client's account is used from its own isolated browser profile and its own proxy.
- Staff account (for agencies). Instead of your own login details, you give us a team member account in your agency with a Business Manager role.
You stay the owner of your account. You can turn off our access at any time: disconnect it in Leadlark (we then delete the stored login details), change your Upwork password, or remove the staff account. We only do what a person you hired could do by hand: send proposals to the jobs your campaigns select and read replies to them. Using a third-party service to sign in to your account may go against Upwork's rules; you decide whether to accept that risk (see section 4).
Leadlark is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Upwork.
4. Your responsibility on Upwork
Proposals are sent in your name, so you are responsible for them and for following Upwork's Terms of Service. You choose your campaigns, filters and how many proposals go out. Sending many proposals in a short time may draw Upwork's attention, and we show a warning in the app when your settings look risky.
Upwork may restrict, suspend or close any account at its own discretion. We cannot prevent this and are not responsible for it (see section 11).
5. Leads
On plans with lead billing, a lead is a client reply to a proposal sent through Leadlark. A reply is not counted if it is an immediate refusal (for example, an Upwork decline) or an automated message. Whether a reply is a lead, a refusal or an automated message is determined by Leadlark's automated classification, at our reasonable discretion. If the client starts a conversation and declines later, it still counts as a lead. Each conversation counts once.
You can see every lead and its charge in your dashboard. If you think a lead was counted by mistake, write to us within 14 days and we will review it.
6. Free trial
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A payment card is required at signup. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and the card is charged for the first billing period.
One trial is available per payment card and per person or company. During the trial, the Upwork profile you connect is locked to your account. We may refuse or end a trial that we believe is being misused.
7. Payment
Subscriptions are billed in advance for each billing period (monthly or quarterly). Lead charges are counted monthly on every plan, including quarterly ones. They are charged to your card on file when they reach the threshold shown in your billing settings (currently $27) or on your monthly billing date, whichever comes first. Any unpaid lead charges are charged right away when you cancel.
Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles payments, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. We don't see or store full card numbers. You agree to keep a valid payment method on file. If a payment fails, we pause sending proposals until it is resolved.
Prices may change. We will tell you at least 14 days before a new price applies to your subscription.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then automation stops and paid features are switched off.
The free trial lets you try Leadlark before paying, so payments are non-refundable, including partly used periods and lead charges, except where the law requires otherwise.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or misuse the Service.
9. Your content
Your profile information, knowledge base, campaign settings and drafts stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run the Service for you, for example to score jobs and write cover letters. We do not use your content to train AI models.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Leadlark for anything illegal or for spam;
- use it to break the rules of Upwork or any other platform;
- connect Upwork accounts you don't own or aren't authorized to manage;
- interfere with the Service, other users or our systems;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer Leadlark.
11. No guarantees and limits of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows:
- we don't guarantee any results, such as replies, interviews, contracts or income;
- we are not liable for actions Upwork takes on your account, including warnings, restrictions or bans;
- we are not liable for lost profit, lost opportunities, lost data or any indirect damage;
- our total liability for any claim is limited to the average monthly amount you paid us (plan fees and lead charges) over the 3 months before the claim.
12. Intellectual property
Leadlark's software, design, name and logo belong to us. These Terms give you the right to use the Service, not to copy or reuse any part of it without our written permission.
13. Business use and age
Leadlark is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For important changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes go to the courts of Cyprus, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
